I have been hanging on to this one for a while - listening to the mix right now and the sound maintained its' original feel, but manages to incoporate those big classic beats we love.

from Las Vegas to Brooklyn.
Adultnapper is a character created by Francis Harris, and doubles as his pseudonym. This comic book-like anti-hero “is part creative genius gone awry, part tortured dystopian philosopher, part paranoid vigilante outlaw and part Harris himself” (beatport.com).
Harris, born in Las Vegas, now resides in Brooklyn NY. In 2007 Harris launched his record label Ransom Note – “a concept label which, through music text and imagery, will tell the story of Adultnapper” (beatport.com)
On June 8, 2008 Adultnapper performed a guestmix for John Digweed’s Transitions.

Australia is here.
Pendulum, the Australian drum & bass ensemble, just released the album, “In Silico,” a follow up to their successful 2005 debut album, “Hold Your Colour,” which sold over 200,000 copies. The group, made up of producers Rob Swire (25) and Gareth McGrillen (26), DJ Paul ‘Elhornet’ Harding, MC Verse, and musicians Kodish (drummer) and Perry Al-Gwynedd (guitar), are new to performing live, but fans are ecstatic.
Their sound is a blend of drum & bass, rock and electronica - I assure you it is nothing like anything you have heard before. And it is fantastic.
A few noteworthy quotes from Pendulum's recent interview with Mixmag:
"When people said the album [Hold Your Colour] sounded rock I didn't know what the fuck they were talking about. It wasn't intentional. But I guess it does make sense because the shit we were referencing the album against was rock. We weren't paying attention to what was going on in d'n'b" - Rob
"We plan this shit like a military fucking operation. Everything is thought about 500 million times before we do it and then once we've done it we look back and make sure we've done it right. That's why we've got to this point." - Rob
And we do thank you for your efforts.

I didn't really need another reason
Yet another French gem, Anthony Collins, is quickly making a name for himself in the house and techno scene. Self-described style as a “mix of house, deep house, minimal and deep techno,” Collins’ sets are unique and engaging.
Born to a French mother and an American father, Collins split his time growing up between the South of France and New York. His father owns a recording studio in Los Angeles and introduced Collins to music, particularly jazz music. But, it was France that acquainted Collins with electronic music – love at first listen.
Collins got his first decks at 17, booked his first gig a year later, and played at most major clubs in the French Riviera. He moved to Paris to grow his career – quickly he established a name for himself in the Parisian scene, regularly booking gigs at clubs like Batofar, Rex Club and nouveaux casino.
What’s up for Collins this month:
June 7 - Le Rachdingue Girona, Spain
June 12 - Loop Club Athens, Greece
June 20 - La Ruche Lausanne, Switzerland
June 21 - GareClub Oporto, Portugal
June 22 - Goa Madrid, Spain

Who needs introductions when you are David Guetta?
Lucky enough to have seen him at this year's Ball en Blanc in Montreal QC, Monsieur Guetta was able to turn a very negative crowd (I guess 2hour waits in line will do that to you!) into one of the best parties of my life. Club Goulet thanks you.
Here's a set from April 23, 2008.
Even those who find him a bit commercial will appreciate this mix.
